...If I am too lazy to go hunting for a chapstick and I am baking holiday cookies (the first batch, an experiment, went to the Bean's teacher and three class aides), butter can work in a pinch. Any confectioner's sugar that is stuck to the butter can work as an exfoliant.

You know what's even better (but will also melt in your pocket)? Coconut oil! Best (for you) cooking oil out there, not to mention fabulous for your skin.
