The Big Meeting

R. and I were nervous, for sure, for our very first Parent-Teacher Conference for our very first child and her very first elementary school. Here's the lowdown on the Bean:

1. Well-liked, "class artist" (how we peg our children so early, if benignly out of pride!), still needs to speak louder in class to be heard.

2. The teacher is moving her away from the girl who copies her and is a bit mean and emotionally unpredictable and talkative.

3. Still doesn't like gym class, but now seems to like everything else.

I guess we can calm down a bit now. Boy, I was a bit too wound up about this whole thing...
