Did You Hear the One About The Easter Dress?

...And the Crazy Mom?

...Who, upon learning that her childrens' overnight bag (Easter dresses, underwear, etc.) had not made it to Grandmom's house (heck, had not made it down from their SECOND floor at home)?

...Meaning that her oldest daughter would thus attend Easter service in a long-sleeved t-shirt that read "Daddy's Snow Angel" and matching cotton pants and sneakers?

...Who counted this oversight as the FOURTH such incidence of leaving behind something key within the diapers-and-clothes category since the Lump has been born?

...Who promptly closed the bathroom door on herself and did not quite get a grip until cocktails at the other set of grandparents' house (five minutes away) at 5 p.m.?

...Who, quite possibly, might never leave the house for an overnight ever, ever again?

...Who at least, after thorough persuading by husband, did purchase a medium-sized overnight bag that will hereafter contain EVERYTHING for ALL family members, including diapers?

...But who still may, at least for the short-term, never leave the house for an overnight ever, ever again?

...Okay, at least until May's trip to Mexico. (Note to self: make exhaustive packing list. Get sleep. And if kids are safe, stop caring about the rest of it in scary, obsessive-mom way. Oh, and yoga and some kind of ashram, stat!)
