September: Eh.

Not too busy to post, simply in a creative rut. Reasons:

1. Pummeled, yet unable to turn away from financial and electorial news. I think some longer stretches of "media dieting" is in order.

2. Balancing two classes simultaneously for the first time (luckily one of the classes has only two students in it...!).

3. Trying to decipher if the Bean likes or hates kindergarten. She doesn't tell me enough and I have to resist asking dozens and dozen of questions, but her mood seems completely off, as I would imagine it would be with ANY big adjustment like this. (But is it TOO off?)

4. Trying to decipher how comfortable I MYSELF feel with structured, mandatory schooling.

5. Trying to determine the possibility that we could homeschool if we felt it was something we could manage. Dozens of other parts of our lives would need to fall into some better sense of order before we do this, R. and I agreed, with the usual bits of chaos sprinkled in.

6. Oh, and the Lump has coxsackie virus, which sounds either hysterically funny or unnervingly similar to "bubonic." By Wednesday we are no longer contagious, at least.

7. Oh and oh, all the other things I magically, graciously-yet-sometimes-wearily, help to happen in our ordinary lives.
