Vaudeville and Egg in the Hole

Three good things about being a mostly-at-home parent this morning:

1. Upon hearing the Bean wake up, I padded over to the stairs, only to see Panda playing peek-a-boo with me from the right-hand side of the stairwell.

2. Later, she discovered it was immensely funny for both of us if she licked my face.

3. For breakfast, we ate egg in the hole, with big crusty slices of bread cooked in olive oil in the cast iron pan. This is not a fast food breakfast. This is old style, sit-and-eat food. It makes you glad you have time on your hands.

Yesterday was a funeral service. So because of yesterday, I guess we're wanting to appreciate time a bit more today.
