With the increasingly bright dawns, it was inevitable. The Bean is joining the legions of preschoolers before her and waking at 6 a.m. Of course, Rich wakes at six, we are all usually in the same bed by then, and he has an alarm and electric toothbrush. So, yes, it was inevitable.
The benefits: up to 2 extra hours in the morning, so that we can calmly prepare for our morning as opposed to staging the get-dressed-we-need-to-leave-showdown that can ensue. I am also letting Flylady finally penetrate my brain and heeding the get-dressed-before-coming-downstairs advice that can make for a smoother transition to our morning plans.
The drawbacks: whenever a down comforter is parted with, there is a drawback of some sort, naturellement.
